What do I do if im in an accident in Mexico?
The first thing you want to do is call the police! If you have Mexican Auto Insurance, you can also call the local adjustor (number is provided on policy). If you cannot show proof of Mexican Auto Insurance, you could face jail time and your car may be impounded. Any and all claims must be filed in Mexico.
